We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

Driven by God’s love, we work to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Every day we live our lives at home and within our community in support of, and leading the way for spiritual women to:

Stand up for justice
Act boldly for compassion
Advocate for inclusivity

Thereby, transforming both our church, local communities and the world around us.

HOW WE CONNECT

Currently, the United Women in Faith meets every other month at the Los Altos United Methodist Church in Long Beach, Calif. At these general meetings we hear from invited guest speakers who represent agencies and non-profits that share our commitment to organizations dedicated to improving the lives of women, youth, and children. Guest speaker recommendations are derived from our own members based upon whom they feel best represent the values we stand for.
