We are delighted to welcome you to our Los Altos United Methodist Church. Whether you are new to the area, seeking a community, or simply curious, we invite you to join us as we celebrate faith, friendship, hope, and God’s love with one another. Our doors are open, and we look forward to meeting you and sharing in the warmth and joy that makes our church a special place for everyone. We offer two types of worship services on most Sundays  and, on certain Sundays during the year, the two services come together for a single blended service.  Our blended service is usually held on the first Sunday of the month and each Sunday during the summer months, though there are occasional changes. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to view the latest Sunday service schedule.

Whether you are a longtime member or visiting for the first time, all are embraced and encouraged to worship in a space where faith and community grow.

Also, be sure to stop by Heritage Hall for coffee, donuts and fellowship before, after, or between the two services.

The casual atmosphere of our contemporary service

Relaxed, New Music service - 9:00 am  fellowship hall

The 9 am Worship Service is a relaxed and informal worship experience featuring modern music led by a praise band. Attendees may come as they are and participate in a lively atmosphere focused on spiritual connection and community. The service often incorporates multimedia elements and practical messages relevant to everyday life.

A more formal service in our Sanctuary

The 10:30am Worship Service offers a warm and uplifting environment, rooted in Christian traditions. The service features classic hymns, a dedicated choir and a meaningful message from the pastor. Experience a sense of belonging and connection as you join together in praise and prayer and learn how to live out your faith in today’s world.

This is a service that blends both of our offerings and offers a chance for our entire community to gather together for worship and fellowship. It features both traditional and contemporary music, an engaging message from the pastor, and, on first Sundays, features Holy Communion.
