The Foundation’s annual grant application cycle typically opens in the spring, generally beginning in March, with applications due in mid-April. When the application period opens, this page will be updated with eligibility requirements, application materials, submission deadlines, and links to all necessary documents.

Application Process

1. Review the Grant Guidelines

• The application cover page outlines the types of projects and initiatives eligible for Foundation support.
• Funding is competitive, and while many worthy projects are considered, not all proposals receive funding. Some projects may receive partial funding.

2. Prepare a Written Proposal

Applicants should submit a proposal that includes:

• A description of the proposed project or activity.
• An explanation of how the project will benefit the church and its ministries.
• A detailed budget and funding request.
• Expected outcomes and measures of success.

3. Submit the Application

• Applications must be submitted by the deadline specified for that grant cycle, typically in mid-April.
• Grants are intended to support projects and activities occurring during the following grant year.
• Awarded funds should generally be expended before the close of the next application cycle (approximately 11 months).

4. Foundation Committee Review

• The Foundation Grant Committee carefully evaluates all completed applications.
• Because available funds are limited, proposals are reviewed and prioritized based on their merits, impact, and alignment with Foundation objectives.

5. Grant Awards

• Grants are funded through the Foundation’s annual earnings.
• The Foundation has distributed between $40,000  - $60,000 annually on average.

6. Final Report

• Grant recipients are required to submit a final report upon completion of the project.
• The report should summarize activities undertaken, outcomes achieved, and the overall impact of the grant-funded initiative.
